NEW PROJECTS TO BE UNDERTAKEN AT MANGESHI

PRABHAVALI OF LORD MANGESHI

The existing Prabhavali has worn out and hence the Committee has felt a need for the Lord to have a new one made out of silver with gold outlay.

The approximate cost is Rs 1 million or Rs 10 lakh.

SCHOLARSHIP

With Shri Mangeshi's blessings, we have initiated a scholarship for the children of needy Mahajans of this Devasthan who are desirous of pursuing professional studies.

One pupil will be adopted per year whose entire expenditure including hostel expenses, etc, will be met by the Saunsthan.

A corpus fund has been formed for this purpose. Those eager to join this endeavour may send their donations in any denomination.

ANNA SANTARPANA

The Saunsthan is shortly beginning an Anna Santarpana project. Devotees can donate Rs 500 or multiples thereof and the Saunsthan will serve food for one person for every Rs 500 per year.
THE NEW MATH BUILDING
Math at Mangeshi

The Managing Committee of Shri Mangesh Saunshtan takes great
pleasure in announcing the completion of the work of re-construction work of Math building at Mangeshim.

The Bhoomi Poojan was performed on July 23, 2002.

This new Math
building consists of two spacious halls on ground floor and 27 rooms on first floor.

The small temple that was standing in the middle of the old Math building has been retained.

This shall be archeologically restored in the second phase of the project. The project also includes developing of a car park by he side of the Math building.

The Management records its gratitude to all those who donated towards this project.

Those wishing to contribute may send their remittances by Demand Draft
drawn in favour of:
‘Shri Mangirish Seva Samiti’ payable at Mangeshi or Ponda, Goa,
and send to ‘Shri Manguesh Devasthan, Mangeshim, P.O. Mardol, GOA 403404’.
